2024 Visa Conversion

Coming Soon: New Visa Credit Card

As a valued member of CVF Credit Union, we wanted to share some exciting news regarding our credit card program happening this February. Last year, we made the decision to move our debit and credit card portfolios to the same provider. After successfully converting our debit cards in July, we are now in the process of completing this transition of our credit cards.

As a reminder, if you have eStatements, starting with your February credit card statement, we are unable to provide eStatements. February statements will be mailed to your primary mailing address. If you are interested in enrolling for eStatement delivery, you may register at www.ezcardinfo.com starting on February 26, 2024. To enroll, you will need to create a unique username and password, following the directions provided at www.ezcardinfo.com. This cannot be completed until after February 26, 2024.

We are encouraging all members to make their February credit card payment before February 20, 2024. Members can make this payment through a transfer within online banking or by mailing it to the address on the statement. Payments made after February 20, 2024, must be mailed or dropped off at: CVF Credit Union, 36111 Five Mile, Livonia, MI 48154.

Once this conversion is completed, you can make your your March and subsequent payments:

Online through www.ezcardinfo.com, or by setting up payments in online banking. Again, these payments will be for the statement you receive after February 26, 2024.

With this transition, the only interruption of service will be for digital/mobile wallet. Our hope is to have the digital/mobile wallet capabilities ready to go in late-March. If you are interested in getting a new CVF Visa, featuring Tap to Pay technology, please contact us after March 1, 2024, to get a new card issued.

Your Questions Answered

How do I have to make my February payment?

All current CVF Visa cards are moving to a new provider. Our current provider requires wind down time, just like our new provider requires a ramp up period. To make sure your payment does not get lost in the middle of this transition, we are asking all cardholders to complete their payment before February 20, 2024.

After February 20, 2024, we are encouraging members to drop off your payment at the branch or to give us a call to make the transfer. Your March payment will be mailed to: PO Box 4521, Carol Stream, IL 60197-4521, which will also be listed on your new credit card statement. You will also be able to make a payment through www.EzCardinfo.com.

Where do I make my payments in March?

After February 26, 2024, you will mail your March and subsequent payments to PO Box 4521, Carol Stream, IL 60197. Members will also be able to submit payment through www.ezcardinfo.com, or by setting up payments in online banking.

Again, this will be for the statement you receive after February 26, 2024.

Where can I manage my credit card account online?

Once this conversion is completed on February 26, 2024, you can enroll in eStatements and manage your credit card online through www.ezcardinfo.com.

The Catholic Central VISA Rewards Card is offered by the Catholic Central Advancement Office in partnership with CVF Credit Union to support the tuition assistance program earning 1.25% cash back on credit card purchases to support CC’s assistance fund and future generations of shamrock brothers.

The cash back earned from purchases you make will go directly to the fund, helping more young men to experience the Catholic Central tradition of Goodness, Discipline, and Knowledge. CVF Credit Union is Michigan’s leading and most well respected Catholic Credit Union. It has a long established history of serving the financial needs and best interests of our Catholic community.

Will I have to get a new card?

Most of our cardholders will not require a new Visa unless they want Tap to Pay technology (touchless) on their card. CVF will be re-issuing the Detroit Catholic Central High Shamrock Visa card in March/April timeframe. However, all cards will continue to work as they always have.

Why doesn’t my Visa no longer work in my mobile wallet?

All current CVF Visa cards are moving to a new provider. Our current provider requires wind down time, just like our new provider requires a ramp up period, which includes the availability of your digital card inside your mobile wallet. Once we complete this transition, we will work Google, Apple, and Samsung to get digital wallet re-launched. Our hope is by May.

Why is the Detroit Catholic Central High School Shamrock Visa not being offered any longer?

The cost to offer a specialty card with our new provider was extremely expensive and we made the difficult decision to roll the Shamrock Visa into our current credit card product offering. We are still looking at ways to support Catholic Central’s Tuition Assistance Fund through other charity means.

Why is there a blackout date for earning rewards?

All current CVF Visa cards are moving to a new provider. Our current provider requires wind down time, just like our new provider requires a ramp up period. This will end up only being approximately 23 days (From February 3rd to February 26th).

Do my rewards transfer over in February?

No. Any rewards earned prior to February 2, 2024, will be issued as a statement credit or in the primary member’s share account. Members will start earning bonus points on purchases starting on February 26, 2024.

Why did I not get an eStatement?

All current CVF Visa cards are moving to a new provider. Our current provider requires wind down time, just like our new provider requires a ramp up period.

After February 26, 2024, we are encouraging all our members to re-enroll for eStatements under the new provider, through www.EzCardinfo.com, where you can manage your new CVF Visa credit card.

When do I stop earning cash back rewards?

Our current reward program ends on February 2, 2024.

For Business Cardholders: On February 2, 2024, a statement credit will be issued on your current statement.

For Members: During the week of February 5, 2024, we will deposit into your primary share account, your earned cash back reward for the timeframe of October 1, 2023, through February 2, 2024.

How do I redeem my points?

After February 26, 2024, at participating merchants and gas stations, you will be prompted at the payment terminal to redeem any available points. You can also shop and redeem online after registering at www.scorecardsrewards.com.
