Now in its 76th year, International Credit Union Day is celebrated by credit unions worldwide annually on the third Thursday of October. Initiated by the Credit Union National Association in 1948, this annual event was established to raise awareness about credit union history and achievements and to promote the credit union philosophy of “people helping people.”
Food Drive All Month Long
In this spirit, CVF will be accepting canned foods and non-perishable items during the entire month of October (and into November) as we look to support Elmwood Blessing Box in Garden City. We encourage all members to bring an item or two into either of our branch locations throughout the month to help us make a difference in the lives of others.
Credit Union Day
Join us on Thursday, October 17, 2024, as we celebrate International Credit Union Day! We will have cider, doughnuts, and small gifts of appreciation for our members who visit both of our branch locations (while supplies last).
