    Overdraft Protection

    CVF offers protection for our checking accounts. With our checking account, you have all the armor you could need with Overdraft Protection on transactions being returned due to insufficient funds. This service offers you peace of mind by eliminating the frustration of being declined at the time of purchase or having payments returned unpaid.

    Plus, we offer the following options to choose from:

    • Link your checking account to another CVF account
    • Establish an Overdraft Line of Credit
    • Leverage Courtesy Pay

    The best reason to arrange for Overdraft Protection with us is because we will honor your check payments even if you have overdrawn your account. Avoid having to pay NSF fees and hurting your credit score in the process. Please be advised, whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and CVF does reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts.
